How maintenance works

When Modern Warfare 4 patches, there is a window where the current build needs rework. The status page flips within the hour, work starts, and pass clocks freeze for the duration - downtime has never cost a buyer a single hour of paid time.

Finished reworks are logged on this page with the date and what changed. Minor game patches often need nothing at all; the log makes clear which is which, so a quiet week means a stable week rather than a mysterious one.

Extended maintenance is announced by email to active pass holders before it begins whenever advance notice exists.

The current build state is always summarized at the top of the status page as well: green means buy with confidence, yellow means a rework is in progress and clocks are frozen.
